General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) for Quatre Feuilles, a 10-person gîte
1- Booking and confirmation : Your rental booking is reserved for the exclusive use of the furnished tourist accommodation LE QUATRE FEUILLES.
The stay is planned for a maximum capacity of 10 people (including children) and if this number is exceeded, we are able to refuse the additional people declared at the time of booking.
However, if the capacity of the gîte allows, additional people may be accommodated.
Once the reservation has been concluded for a fixed period, you will not be able under any circumstances to claim any right to remain on the premises after the end of your stay.
The reservation becomes effective upon receipt of the deposit of 30% of the total value of the stay, which will be followed by an acknowledgement of receipt by email from our side.
2- Cancellation conditions: Any cancellation must be notified to us in writing (email, sms, whatapp for example) .
Our guesthouse is a small tourist accommodation with a capacity of 10 people, and a last-minute cancellation represents a real financial loss.
- Up to 30 days before the start of the stay : 100% refund of the remaining balance of the stay
- Between 29 and 16 days : 50% refund of the remaining balance of the stay
- For any cancellation after this deadline, or "no-show" on the reserved day, we will not issue any refund.
- For shortened stays : The full price of the stay will be due.
3- Payment of the balance : The balance of the rental is to be paid 15 days before arrival at the cottage.
4- Payment methods : the deposit and balance of your stay can be paid in cash, by bank transfer or directly on the Quatre Feuilles website.
5- Your arrival at Quatre Feuilles : We will welcome you on the date and at the time specified in your reservation. In case of a late or delayed arrival, please inform us as soon as you know so we can make the necessary arrangements. A tour of the cottage will be conducted with you upon your arrival (except in cases of very late arrival) to verify that the accommodation matches your reservation (cleanliness, essential amenities, etc.) and to provide you with helpful tips for your stay. Cleaning the house is your responsibility and at your expense during the rental period.
6- Before your departure, we ask that you empty all the rubbish bins. We count on your respect to leave the premises as you found them.
7- Neighborhood and use of the premises : We ask you to respect the neighbors and the peaceful nature of the premises and to use them in accordance with their intended purpose, under penalty of having your right to stay terminated.
Noisy parties and festive gatherings are therefore not allowed (the house and environment are not suitable).
For your information, the cottage is located in the heart of the village and next to an after-school program open during the week. There may be some children's noise nearby (excluding weekends and school hours) until 6 pm at the latest.
The various fireplaces in the cottage are for decorative purposes only and cannot be used as such.
You agree to return the accommodation in good condition and in its original configuration (no moving of furniture or available equipment).
8- Welcoming animals : We have specified in the property description that we do not accept pets. If this is not respected, we may refuse the stay and no refund will be issued.
9- Insurance/Deposit You are responsible for all damage to the rented property (furniture or real estate) caused by you. Therefore, you are required to have holiday or vacation rental insurance to cover these risks, and you agree to claim on it in the event of damage or loss of items. We accept no responsibility for theft, loss, or damage to your personal belongings.
A deposit of €500 will be required upon arrival and will be refunded upon departure if the accommodation is returned in good condition.
10. Tourist tax : This is a local tax that we collect from January 1st to December 31st for the public treasury and is not included in our rates. This tax applies daily to each adult. It will be collected upon your arrival at the gîte (in cash or by check) and will be calculated based on the length of your stay. It amounts to €1.90 per night per person over 18 years of age.

Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
By staying in our gîte, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted our terms and conditions. Booking implies prior reading and acceptance of all the terms of the advertisement.
